Official Rules and Guidelines 2025

Consent

1. All contestants are participating in Kibali Awards 2025 willingly. Contestants may withdraw from the process at any time by submitting an official written request to info@kibaliawards.com.
2. Contestants agree to allow Kibali Awards to use their images, photos, and videos for promotional and publishing purposes, under fair use guidelines.
3. Written or electronic consent will be required from all attendees at the Gala event for production purposes, including photography and videography.

Any communication outside of these channels should not be considered official.

Submission and Nominations

1. A contestant may be nominated for a maximum of two (2) categories.
2. Submissions can be made via the provided registration link, either by the contestant themselves or by the general public.
3. Submissions will be shortlisted and carefully reviewed based on specific criteria. Submission does not guarantee placement on the final nominee list.
4. Contestants must provide high-resolution images (not selfies) and links to videos showcasing their best work for consideration.
5. All information submitted must be accurate and complete. Submission of false information will result in immediate disqualification.

Voting

1. Voting will take place online via the official website and USSD. Both contestants and the public are allowed to vote multiple times.
2. The progress of votes will be made available to contestants up until the final two weeks of the voting period.
3. Voting will be managed by an independent platform Evopolls (https://evopolls.com) a brand run by Turelabs Developers Limited (https://turelabs.com), with an audit firm overseeing and certifying the results.
4. Final results will only be disclosed and announced at the Gala event on 6th December 2025.
5. Contestants who feel dissatisfied with the results may submit an appeal to info@kibaliawards.com within three (3) days following the Gala.

Gala, Prizes, and Awards

1. All participants will receive a certificate of recognition for their contribution.
2. Category winners will be awarded trophies.
3. Additional prizes will be subject to availability, support from well-wishers, and sponsorship.
4. Contestants will receive invitations from the Kibali Awards organizers in advance of the Gala event.
